Who came up with this stupid idea anyway?

Who won last year?
Bill Malone. Again. If you don't believe it you are free to ask him. I know for a fact he remembers. He has won two years in a row. Apparently retired electricians spent a lot of time studying college basketball.
Who is invited to this silly exercise?
A very small group. Better to keep it small and manageable. There may be twenty or thirty entries. But you are invited to have your kids, significant other, etc…fill out a bracket if you wish.
How much is this going to cost?
Zero. Nada. Nil. Gooseggs. Nothing.
Why in the world would I take time out of my day to join your silly bracket if none of the participants are going to put anything into the pot?
Because it is fun. Just because it doesn’t cost you anything does not mean that it does not pay. One winner will take home the grand prize of 100 dollars in untraceable US currency donated by QDH.
You guys are that cheap? 100? That is all?

We can’t exactly promote a gambling pool but we can offer prizes and awards. And since we don’t want our clients to be burdened by income taxes we decided to keep the winnings under the reportable threshold.
How is it scored?
Easy. 1 point for first round. 2 points for second round. 3 Points for third round. 4 points for fourth round. 6 points for fifth round. 10 points for the final.
What do I need to do to join?
Follow the the instructions.
How do you guys have time for this?
We don’t. That is why we will delegate these duties.
